PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
For 12 years was the Photographer for The New Orleans Museum Of Art creating images of every collection resulting in numerous books and catalogs, The Museum Handbook and magazine articles. Completed a 2-year project for The La. State Museum documenting over 2,000 various items in the Museum's collections. Chief Photographer for busy antique auction house. This work required use of all film formats, primarily with the large format 4x5 camera.
15 Years with The N.O. Academy Of Fine Arts as an Instructor in Basic Camera and Darkroom, Documentary Photography, and Studio Lighting.

Photographer for the Tulane Univ./Newcomb College book “The Arts and Crafts of Newcomb Pottery”, published 2013 by RizzoliI have been photographing various aspects of the Louisiana Creole culture since 1978 as an ongoing documentary project. Recently, the recovery of New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina has been my main documentary photography project.
Photographed for 2 years with House Of Blues Production, as Still Photographer, creating production stills. Also, created production stills for 6 years during the N.O. Jazz And Heritage Festival for the Japanese broadcast network, NHK; Acura Automobile Company and Michael Murphy Productions.
Recently, I co-founded the non-profit arts organization, the New Orleans Photo Alliance, and served as the first president for 2 years guiding the membership of over 250 photographers as we acquired our first exhibition gallery, applied for our 501(c)(3) status, hosted numerous exhibitions, lectures, workshops, and the initiation of PhotoNola, an annual month of photography in New Orleans.Special Projects
Recently scanned and printed 600 glass plate negatives from the John Mendes Collection for the Historic New Orleans Collection.
Recently created vintage photographic prints for the “Green Lantern” movie project being filmed in New Orleans.
